PGI Technologies to launch new machines | Labels & Labeling

PGI Technologies, previously known as Precise Graphics, will launch three new machines at Labelexpo India 2016 to be held from November 17-20 at Greater Noida Expo Center (Delhi-NCR).

These launches will include a high speed rotary die-cutting machine, a servo slitting machine with 100 percent defect detection and a 3-color flexo label press.

The 330mm-wide Precicut-330 with turret rewinder features an electronic web guide, rotary die-cutting, and rotary or razor blade slitting. The machine can reach a top speed of 150m/min. PGI Technologies said it is the first Indian company to design and manufacture such a machine.

The high speed servo slitting machine with 100 percent defect detection comes with a 370mm web width. It has a precision rotary shear slitting unit, and razor blade slitting. This machine will run live on the show floor at Labelexpo India 2016.

The 3-color flexo label press is targeted at barcode and price gun label markets. The press has a web width of 330mm, comes with two die stations, a turnbar and power saver hot air drying. The factory trial of this machine has reached a top speed of 90m/min.

‘The aim is to provide high accuracy and high speed machines to the Indian as well as global market at very competitive pricing,’ said Sanjeev Atre, PGI Technologies managing director.
